if your doing single story you can do any time you like.
if you have anything on single brick walls then would be a good idea to chase them with conduit during construction. other than that single story easy to wire after.

I have a wireless setup and never have any problems with it, always full strength no dropouts or anything. Way easier than running cables all over the place and way cheaper to.
I play wii, xbox360, pcs etc and never have any lag or dropouts :S Hardwired is getting outdated.

Unless security is your aim . Wired is safe and not as easy to get into as wireless. That is if the wired network is secured.

I would my neigbour had unsecured, my laptop connected, checked primary gateway, logged onto router, tried default user/pass combinations.

admin/default was on the money, I could have just deleted their settings for some fun but I left it and told them :P. Even secured wireless is not safe.
