Try office cleaning? Not very glamorous I know but needs must and all that.

I always see adverts in the paper offering a few hours a week. Not much scope for full time employment but at least its something coming in.

The fast food joints always have jobs.

You are going to have to be super aggressive in the current market and really show that you are the one they want to employ. Dont forget that in things like supermarket shelf stacking they are very used to paying teenagers and students that just work for a couple of months a very low wage.....they will assume that if your older or your work history shows long term employment with a decent wage that you are going to want to continue something they are not offering. They pretty much just pull names out of a hat and go with the cheapest labour they can get.

If someone tells you they will call you by a certain day and they dont YOU call them.

There is good money to be made if youre prepared to put in the hard yards.
