sorry for the gravedig
but looking to race at WAW and have an old AGV Valentino Rossi AS1698 motorbike helmet fullface. Bought this when he was racing 250s lol
How strict are they recently with the helmet standards? Will they check?

As long as it has an Aussie standards sticker you'll be fine. I had a British one which had the British standards sticker which is apparently a more stringent standard but I wasn't allowed to race with that and had to borrow one with an Aussie Standards sticker.

Yes they will check but as long as it's in good condition (ie no chips & scratches) AS1698 is fine...
