wondering if someone could tell me good places to go through to get a personal loan?

its not for me, for a friends, we are going to the USA in july and she wants a small personal loan for spending money, not much probably between 1k-3k. Can anyone reccomend a good place to go see, her bank only gives out minimum loans of 5k. I know theres cash converters finance but i reckon their interests rates would be high, and the rac does personal loans but was hoping someone might work in this area or know a good place to go

Get a credit card.

pretty sure lowest amount for most credit unions/banks is 5k for a personal loan.

a bank guaranteed wont loan a personal loan for anything less than 3k..
anything less than 3k, they will advise you get a creditcard..
maybe apply for a credit card with zero interest on purchases for few months?
at least that way it will be easier to pay off

Minimum on unsecured personal loan is $5k. Minimum secured loan at the bank is usually $10k

Dont go near cash converters.

as above credit card , and then if its taking you a while to pay it off bounce it around as some places have a 0% interest rate for the first couple of months on balance transfers , but read the small print yo
