You can get them from lot of different places including Internet shops and second hand on RC forums but I would head over to Stanbridges and get an RTR kit if it's your first RC car. Go for either Tamiya TT01 drift kit or HPI E10 as both drift well out of the box. When you have mastered one of those chassis upgrade to any carbon race chassis and brushless motor setup, my pick would be Tamiya TA05 pro and Mamba Max 5700

Yeah as Dave said... go get an RTR.

I have both and I wasnt very impressed with the E10 straight out of the box. The battery is a little weak and I thought the motor could have been a little quicker but if you are just starting out then being the cheapest its the best one to get.

when/if you get bored of drifting them can you chuck some grippy tyres on them and race them around or will the cars just roll etc?

I'm not sure how you can get bored drifting them
But yes you can throw some grip tyres on and race them around, all the drift chassis are grip chassis anyhow, it's just the tyres that are different and a slightly different setup.

i seen ya mini dakdakk man. Looks wicked. I just done a new shell. Did the sil80 pretty happy the way it turned out.. I also have a wrx to. Looking at gettin the 21t motor wat you reckon bout that. I know the brushless ones are better but i not gonna spend heaps of money on it. Im pretty happy with the way it goes at the moment

Willo a 21turn will be fine for drifting, anything down to a 15turn will work well. Yes Brushless is the way to go but it's expencive to start off with, depending on your level of interest stick with the brushed motor for bashing around and look at brushless when it's time to start competing

Blue.spec, the only gc8 you can get is the 2 door WRC body. I have done a couple in the past one rally spec and one Team orange replica.
