i have given invites to people on here for various sites and while most people do the right thing some have not maintained there ratio meaning i can get banned for inviting them. i am not willing to hand out anymore invites to people i dont know.

don't forget peergaurdian. If they get you ip connected to a shitload of torrents and Aus's laws change to the american style (or The lawsuits against IINet are won) could be big trouble for you!
PeerGaurdian 2 stops all known government and contracted spys from connecting to your ip. Its a bit annoying at times so just disable it when not torrenting.

I got a few warnings from my ISP before finding this little doozey, but it did say on the letters it was illegal ONLY if I didn't own the originals which of course I did.

you serious?? letter from ISP about dowloading torrents? isn't that invasion of privacy?

iinet is currently in court with AFACT and channel 7 btw. And when the law suits start flying anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law :P Which includes posts here don't worry.

I would say that if you were downloading a lot of movies/music etc I think the ISP would give you a couple of warnings firstly before any charges were laid.
