something that i do that most people don't in these case is get a freakin lock on your bedroom door!!! , i have put a 3rd hinge on my door ages ago with a solid door with dead bolt.

the wife though i was crazy but i told her that if some one breaks in and we don't wake we don't want them to come into the bedroom and get us.

im now glad i do this , if i had not woken up the other night at least they would not have been able to get into our room.

also if you just built a house and have a privacy set on your door id get a proper locking door handle like your entrance set as a privacy set can be opened with a 20c coin.

Just give him the address of a local landmark, if push comes to shove tell him your not comfortable meeting at home. Take Dan along

hell no ! haha the prob we have is if ppl rock up to our place... its quite a bit out of the way - we arent living in suburbia and have no close neighbours. They they see a couple of SS utes/ quad bikes etc. You never know what ideas it will give someone.

Dan is coming of course, and thinking about taking 2 cars, and putting Rommie (the one on the right lol) in the other one.. just to inspire them not to follow us home ! Not that I would consider a bloody Clio a target but you can never be too careful! Esp after reading on all the forums around oz about all the car theft going on.

weird thing is.. i texted him back and straight out just said we are security concious and dont provide address till we have a deposit and/or signed transfer papers ! and he never replied.... so something a bit suspicious there!
