Rim shop
I'm just wondering if anyone has bought rims off these guys before? If so, comments?

Back in the day, most of the really shit, tasteless chrome rims you see, came from this place.
A lot of places sell these sorts of wheels now, but Tempe Tyres gained such a reputation, that the generic word for all really shit rims are called "Tempe" wheels, even if they aren't from there. |

Service was on time aswel.

Tempe have a reputation for sending people back on the road with cheap & most of the time smaller or non-load rated tyres (which pretty much all us Forester owners in NSW experience with them). They have even transported wheels & tyres, even though specifically stating which tyres, they come with different brands & sizes.
I've been there once, all were rude as all shit, very up themselves kebab spec wogs. I'd placed the order 2 days ago & worked out a deal but the guy had no idea what I was talking about & got cranky when I told him the price we agreed on. The workers seemed to get shitty if it involved doing any more than the minimal work to fit & install them. Few of them were yelling at the top of their voice & bagging another car there while the owner was standing right there (wasn't too bad a car). Had so much problem with them in the shop, I'd never deal with them for transporting. Maybe for rims only, no tyres. Sorry if anyone disagrees but they have truley been shithouse in my experience. Many people agree in NSW. |
