In the uk we had quarterly bills and it was around 60 quid so roughly $120 every 3 months!!

timmy, get some solar panels, put excess power back into the grid, and get a discount

mines usually around 130 every 2 months or so.. big tv always on, aircon on heat or cool all year round, big lcd tv screen as monitor for computer on all the time...

i thought mine was expensive!!!

We average between $200-$250 per 2mth bill. Only me & the missus left at home now, however have r/c aircond. Ps hot water & cooking is gas.

Would be interesting to add to everyones bills, do you have gas or not? Power bill should be less if you have gas stove/hotwater/heater??

I used to have over $400 each month at my old place. Especially in summer when we pretty had 1 room as a server room with a few racks in it. Aircon pumping away etc. Split costs between housemate so it was bearable, but power is not cheap and it's easy to eat up the juice with split systems, plasma's, etc.

My bill is high as we live in a studio apartment and the shit-house real estate didn't bother to get a sub meter so the power bills are divided between the amount of people in our apartment (2) compared to the amount of people in the townhouse (5) wtf! We are getting screwed there paying $150-200 every 2 months for a 2x1 apartment compared to a 5x3 house! Moving in a month though

Swimming pool, outdoor spa, 2 big TV's all the time 4 kids and atm 4 adults, only $230 this last bill... we have gas hot water and heating though.

my last bill was $655 for 2 months, & yeah i was ropeable thats fucking $10somthing a day! we have a big split system that sucks alot of power & heaters in both the kids rooms that are cranked up every night

i now find myself turning the split off whenever possible to save a bit

my bill is usually around the $250 - $350 for 2 months
