Tode, I'd say neither as I hate blends...no serious scotch drinker likes em! Single malt all the way!!!

I would say go for a nice Lagavulin or Laphroaig quarter cask, or if they're not into Islay's go for the trusty 25 year old Glenmorangie - Its a lovely drop for sure!!!



EDIT: Or you could go a nice Congac - Hennessy Richard for a lazy 2500$ - LOL they sell it at Bunker Bay for 500$ for a 30ml shot or 2 for 750$...bargain

my mate drinks johnnie, I dont think he would even know what those other two are..
but yes single malt FTW. blue is a blend AFAIK.
