I just had 'Sundays Everyday' in Myaree. I don't think they do dinner, but it was the best damn Udon I've ever had for lunch.

Ohnamiya in Applecross for cheap.

More $ + good food = Midori (personal favourite). Tsunami in Mosman Park was good a few years back too.

Not bad. Dropped a bit, prices are still up where they were, if not higher.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Perth IS Halu on Oxford St, Mt Hawthorn. www.halu.net.au
Worth a try and an experience that you wont forget. I cant tell you how many meals that I have had there and all have been wonderful.
The staff are very helpful and will explain all aspects of the menu for those a little unsure what they are ordering.
