so does that mean WAPOL use the x and K band or can I disable both of them.
Who has been zapped by a legitimate X or K band.

Personally I turn K-band OFF with city/metro driving, and only turn it back on again when doing highway driving, or long trips like down south this week.

Driving down to Denmark on Tues I passed only 1 radar and that was in a marked HWP car.
He used Instant on which meant I would have been toast if I was speeding

Guy i work with uses a radar detector, he read recently, mounting the detector sideways instead of horizontally actually eliminates those automatic door false alarms you can get. Has tried it himself with a sideways mount he bought off of ebay and reckon's it works a treat... Don't know myself how usefull this imformation is or how acurate as i'm yet to delve into my pockets and invest in one, but if it helps, good o

I think Jason meant [of those 2], only "kill off" X-band, because K-band is still active.

But yes, Ka-band is certainly still used by the Multanova speed cameras.
