I would much rather my taxes keep bludging scum in their house with a carton of TED's and Winnie Blues than having my tax dollars pay for their court-appointed Lawyer who will ream me for thousands in compensation after I break their arm and a few ribs when they're halfway through my bedroom window, trying to relieve me of my material possesions.

Lower payments for repeat offenders who are taking illegal drugs and compulsary attendance at alcoholics/drug meetings.

Although better job hunting people and systems would be a far better tool. Most people I would assume would like to work, but are stuck in a system where they can't get a job because they have been off work for a long period of time. Ignoring the small % that are just people who don't want to work.
