I wouldn't have thought expired protein would be too good if it is a milk based protein, which is most likely the case.
Then again I don't know how they make the shit and what preservatives they put in it, but I wouldn't be keen.

you must be doing something incorrectly then.

you might need to get on the treadmill and do some walking for 20mins after each sesh to burn the fat and help with recovery.

dont just take whey protein after a workout. it wont do much for you. you require carbs as they are more important then the protein.

I have cut out most of my carbs like bread, rice, pasta & potato

you need carbs for your body to digest protein. i would not be cutting rice out of your diet.

Don't bin the protein it will be fine.

If your putting on a gut but not muscle then you are doing something wrong. Then again if you're getting a gut you probably wouldnt be able to tell if you're putting on muscle..

Write down what you do both training wise and nutritionally and post it up and get a hundred opinions or pm if you like.
