Grahams bike cost in excess of $20k and the shitter is about $10k.

He is one of the organisers of the Albany ride.

I think the longest day they did the other year was Bunbury to Mandurah

Something like this:

$~400-500 from Manly.

PS. BAS - that Pinarello dogma is absolute porn.
I am on the lookout at the moment for a new racing bike and will either go for a Pinarello, Colnago or perhaps Specialized. Don't have any pictures of my bikes on my computer, but sold my Trek last year, so only have my time trial bike (McMurdo - sucks when going riding in the hills) and my cross country bike (Avanti Hammer).
you're on-par with the whole mechanical simplicity side of things with regards to fixies. you find that the majority of fixie enthusiasts and couriers alike tend to ride a fixed hub (however, are usually flipflop so you can change the drive type at your own disgression), and without brakes - ofcourse. makes for some awesome bicycle controllability, far above a freewheel hub - but people with inexperience will inevitably fuck their knees up. you've just got to KEEP ON PEDALLING. probably a good idea to invest in a front caliper if you're only starting out on a fixed gear.

come see uncy taylor at TBE in nedlands if you're in pursuit of giant/avanti/specialized/cannondale/colnago/look/ridley/norco/haro/SE bikes/guerciotti/kona/masi, and probably a few others i can't remember off the top of my head.

@ RUSSGT - you were the guy with the white foz that i dribbled shit to, prior to you buying a couple of things off me? howdy if that's you.

@ BALISTIC - that colnago is vick skivinis' bike. i remember you posting on the antilag forums that you knew steve, his older brother (whom used to own the superleggera). i think he put it together for no more than $2k, and resold it to some american for about $4/5k. good way of making ke$h. those oldschool colnago frames are quite sought after; and would be worth a cool $1k with ease.. he found it in his back shed - lucky bastard!
