hey guys

im using a 3G iphone but cant for the life of me figure out how to make a mp3 into a ring tone for the poxy thing? , there is instructions on how to make it into a m4r but when i put it into itunes it won’t send it across to the phone in the ringtones section? , any ideas?

i think you have to convert it to another format first....wav i think, then change it to m4r. i did it a while ago n cant remember now

Get a program called iRinger, it's free just Google it. Very easy to use and it converts any song you have into the correct format and then integrates with your iTunes to sync it onto your phone.

From what I heard you can do the ringtones through itune itself. Not sure if it's specific to Mac versions of iTune only tho.
