Carbontune
Any one had this done ?
Place in Murray st in Perth always has heaps of cars in/ around their premises. Have a commodore 5.7 with close to 300k on the clock. Runs ok but thinking of getting this carbon tune/ clean thing. Any actual knowledge of it here ? Ta |

A mate of mine was a taxi mechanic, whenever the cabs felt like they were carbonizing up he'd disconnect one if the vacuum lines & attach it to a bottle of water then rev the fuck out of the thing, reckoned it worked a treat & was pretty cheap $0.00

Nah, a lot ran a fair bit of petrol too & fleet cars clocked up to 5,000k's per week, he mainly did it to clean the injectors from memory.

Holden do they're own upper engine cleaner. it's about $10 a tin.
Or just run some Bp ultimate through it to clean the fuel system.
