have a wierd issue I am not able to log into my hotmail/facebook account on my computer, but am able to login on another computer or my iphone?

Any reason for this?

The website loads up fine until i try and login and it just hangs then brings up the page internet explorer cannot display the webpage??

Have you tired clearing the cookies/temp internet files?

edit: i do believe hotmail was down for a bit yesterday.

yeh i reset the whole internet explorer yesterday..

it works on other computers just not on my one??

My paypal is like that, i can use my account everywhere but my computer.
I've never been able to figure out what causes it.

I had this problem with facebook/myspace not loading correctly on my cousins computer yesterday. i tried re-installing flash + java. Found out it was their firewall blocking flash/java from operating.

Tried installing Firefox to see if that works?

Maybe Malware - try running superantispyware

I had this. I would log into facebook, ebay and hotmail and they would all say incorrect password. It turns out that I had the DNS Changer Trojan virus on my machine.

Check your DNS settings.
Start --> Run
CMD OK
IPCONFIG /ALL

See what your DNS says, if it is an 88 address, I suggest you get the DNS Changer removal tool and change all passwords.

P.S it is a Mac and Windows Virus. Turns out you can get it from porn sites, however I got mine from downloading iLife for mac from a torrent site.

i just tried ipconfig. no 88 address at all..

hmm i might reload flash and java and see what that does..

might be worth just checking your hosts file quickly as well

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

edit: try ping facebook.com and see what address it reply's at.

Mine came and gone too.

I seriously think you should just run the removal tool mate. It takes like 2 minutes.
