My understanding is that when approaching a sign where the limit is increase, you can't do that speed until your level with or have past the sign.

Where the speed limit decreases, you have to be doing the posted speed before the sign and not slow down to it after passing said sign.

As for where they can't place/use radars and multinovas, I'm only aware that hills or bends were a no go zone, quite sure some of the other users on here will know more about this than I do.

Chinese whispers does not equal the law.

Police shouldn't hang around speed change signs, but they do.

The fact that the road you were on was a lower speed, means you should be doing that lower speed until the signpost. So you can't complain.

If they were pinging people the wrong side of a speed decrease (i.e. 80 zone followng a 110 zone). I'd be complaining... Probably won't get you anywhere, but worth making some noise about.

And they wonder why the majority of the general public see it as revenue raising.

Drove through the camera on Albany highway in Bentley and watched it go off like I was at a disco.
Had a car passing me ever so slightly, maybe 65km/h max and noticed the flash go off, would love to know what the threshold is for setting off the camera.
At the end of the day, I'm glad to have a car with cruise control!

they act like there is a magic force field at the speed signs on one side you are safe as houses to do the the higher limit and one meter before the sign you are the worst type of scum if you were to do the higher speed limit you are approaching
