Default Speed Cameras

Hey does anybody know if speed cameras are allowed on at anytime of the night or day, or if they are not allowed to use them after a certain time??
I got done last night on stock road about 9.30pm

Listening on my scanner they seem to be back at base around 11 ish. I wthink that would be the end of their shift.

yeah course they can use them at night, was it a red flash ? they put a red lense over the flash after dark so as not to affect your vision

yep red flash alright so i got angry and floored it all the way home lol ...
oh well too bad ill never learn my lesson though

UMMM it was on stock road between south street and leach highway accross from harvey norman right outside the car assessors.The bastards hid that camera good too

haha i remember when speed camera's were on the news and people were going around smashing them

same hey, got flashed 2 weeks ago, b4 i got my fine, got flashed again last week >.<

does rx75 really detects them from far away? i heard that most of the time the radar detector only "confirms" that you got flashed, cos by the time it detects the radar and alerts you,you've already got flashed.
(for a wrx that doesn't have huge brembos that stops the car from 100km/h in 3 seconds like yours benji)
