Again was listening in a while ago. A camera op radioed in that some one had thrown a bottle at him. VKI said they would send a patrol around if he wanted and if he wanted to pack up and move....
So....if you first drive by and harrass the op, then he moves, then go back and drive fast....

theres one on the graham farmer free way east just after ascot, usual place just after the bridge, was setting up about 3.30pm ^_^

my guess: like a photographic slave flash. they have a light sensor that detects the first flash from ur camera which then triggers the second flash on the unit. all within a fraction of a second. nifty little devices.

in this case the sensor merely detects the speedcameras flash and then flashes ur own number plate with a nice bright light that will hopefully blow out the image.

do they work? i say the seller should fit one and repeatedly drive past a multinova at speed accompanied by a bunch of board members. if he/she was willing to stand by their product in such a manner...i MIGHT be persuaded to part with my oen hard earned.
