Personally, being an apple fan, i still can't find the use for an ipad??

I was thinking of getting one, but only to have it mounted to the wall of my house, and use the iPod functionality to run thru an amplifier and power speakers around the house in the roof space... that's about the only real use I can see for one, having an iPhone already and a laptop..

I have an iPhone, netbook & a PC....hard to justify buying one of these too.

I dont need an ipad, I already have a pile of old bricks in the back yard!

I am a huge apple fan and can't see a reason to buy it for myself. However I am thinking of getting one (non 3g) for my wife as an e reader as she wants a kindle, I think she will find more functionality out of the ipad.

I used to catch the train into the city everyday. If I was still doing that I would definately have one. Troll the net, read the latest news etc. However I dont do that anymore so I wont be buying one!

I had a play with one the other day and they are just a supersized ipod touch. battery life was very good though on standby.
