That sucks
Is there any chance that someone crept over the line and activated it? Or was it green both ways? I knew that these units existed but I wasn't aware that they were the ones being installed locally. You can lose your license in a heartbeat

Nah it that camera on Riverside is set to go off for traffic going along Riverside drive only, east and west. It was green both ways, and the guy infront of me (about 150m, so no chance it was me) set it off. Saw a massive flash and hit the skids in the truck!

so they made it legal to use fixed post speed cameras then?
I can see a similar uprising as has happened in the uk towards these devices.

For your information and now confirmed - the SPEED aspect of these cameras are always on. As such, its a fixed speed camera with a red light camera attached.

So . . . don't be racing to beat a red light or be speeding.

That's exactly what we used to do in Belgium,
The Government spended more money to repair the damn things than it was making money.
So in a lot of cases they just took them away.
Vandalism works, sometimes
