A friend of mine just posted this on Facebook "Fixed speed camera being put in near Karrinyup rd exit, operational after the new year". Not sure how accurate the info is but worth sharing just in case.

Damn, wish I read the OP prior to yesterday, I'm 95% sure that I got done for a red light at canning HWY/Douglas AVE, as I come from Mandurah I'm not used to cameras at red lights
 . Either way I deserved it no reason to run the redlight and I think I would of got done for speeding aswell. I've read that a red light is $150 + 3 demerits and the speeding fine for $75 so $225 all up dammm. haha

Can you imagine all the rear enders that will occur because of the fixed camera at Karrinyup Road exit ? This will be epic failure I predict. There rest of the world is increasing speeds on FREEWAYS to improve traffic flow, reduce green house gas emissions, etc...what are we doing ? Rob Johnson you are doing it wrong.

there is one at freeway over crossing on reid hwy near the freeway intersection heading into balcatta / carine - this one goes off on the green. my radar detector picks them up.
not sure if its mentioned but there is a new one thats going in on tonkin - heading from domestic to morley way... forgot the road but i thinik its guildford.

yeah i got the e-mail saying where it was, heard on the radio its operational from TOMORROW
tried to spot the fucker on the way home and couldn't apparently its rear facing too, no surprise they wanna get us "from behind"
