is the average motorist able to tell the difference between smoke and steam early in the morning?

is light puffs of white smoke on cold starts normal

i can just see this being full of false reports and people trying to be heroes and reporting every trail of smoke they see

So if your dobbed in 3 times, you're basically up for a bill of a new car or a new engine is what they're saying.

In a way this would be good as it least it will filter *some* of the shitboxes off WA roads.

hmmm don't think average joe will be able to distinguish between smoke and a bit of steam on startup....but to be honest ive been stuck behind some cars in traffic and literally felt woozy from whats coming out of the car infronts exhaust
