I had 2 friends of mine bottled on separate occasions, both times the perpetrators were caught and both times nothing came of it. justice system here is F**KED!!! and they were both random, i.e. didn't cause trouble or anything to deserve it.

i got bottled back in 09, guy just got a pretty hefty fine. I didnt recieve a thing...injuries werent very severe but at the same time it could have been alot worse, the guy didnt even come over and smash me in the face with it, he threw it from 5 metres away...didnt believe a human being could stoop so low.

Yeah i learnt my lesson the hard way, similar to this...turned my back on a group of people trying to pick a fight and copped a smashed off beer bottle-neck to the side of the head (8 stitches to the ear the next day), mind you the group came off worse coz i cut sick at them for taking such a cheap shot and put them all on their backsides...nothing i hate more than cheap shots...my ear didn't stop bleeding all night and needed stitches, big price to pay for trying to do the right thing and walk away, the dude had a smashed off beer bottle clenched in his fist that i didn't see & if it had of been a tad lower it would have hit my jugular and ended somewhat differently...quite the wake up call...now i still walk away from any fight i can because it's just not worth it

similar incident at bedford hall this friday night. TRG was called in... two boys glassed with head wounds. Saw the incident happen as i was driving past.

From what I've read I reckon this guy will go straight to jail, do not pass go, do collect $200. He might not serve that long sentence, but I reckon he'll definitely go to jail. It was totally unprovoked, pint glass in the face, my mate could have died, I'm kind of hoping he'll be made an example of.

I like this idea... but lets leave them there with one glass each.

Put them in a skilled unit. Ie building houses and send them around helping building houses and infrastructure in regional aboriginal communities and overseas.

Or another version could be put them all on a small leaky boat & send them to Iran, Afganistan or Somalia.
