Default My Stolen Xbox360's

Just logged into www.xbox.com and found out my Xbox Live account is being used by whoever stole or received my stolen Xbox360.

Is there any way I can somehow track down the IP address or details of who is using it??

Just curious because it billed my credit card for another 6 months subscription and I can see they are playing games :-(

Surely through using the proper authorities, this person is how you say 'fucked!', and what an idiot, really could you be more stupid to use a stolen system that would have a direct identifier to your location?

Hopefully this is resolved soon mate.

You'd have to contact Xbox Live/MS somehow to get the IP - Once you had that, you could see what Country/State/ISP the address belonged to easy enough.

Then you'd have to contact that ISP and go from there .. Lots of work involved. More time/$$$ than a new 360 costs - And thats even if you get the information.

If you've got the time to spend i guess! Its not as if you're going to get it all done by flicking a few emails around. It will literally takes hours/days. I doubt MS would even come to the party due to the amount of 360's which get nabbed.

Good luck though.

Hard: Obtain IP from xbox.com

Easy: Contact Computer crime division of WAPOL, let them take care of it.

We have used the above department twice now with results within hours of contacting them... We did have an email / IP both times though.

That was my next step.. Each Xbox360 has an individual serial number associated with the xbox live account and each connection an IP address.. I'm wondering if they can trace that back to the ISP and thus track them down. Hmm Have just emailed Microsoft asking the question.

You might find the crime squad has more interest in this than Microsux.

+1 as well as direct access to the proper channels to get things moving faster.

Getting these fuckers whipped for the price of a 6 month subscription is money well spent imo.
