Man thats the worst amount of crime one person has ever been through that i have heard of! Thats crazy!

+1 for waist level 2 wire electric fence......As long as it's inside your properties boundry it's a ok.

Only the tip of the Ice berg mate.

My car has been written off while pulling into my driveway. A Turbo Nissan 3 cars back thought he'd overtake 2 cars pulling into Woolworths on the outside, only to find me who has been indicating for 50m turning into my driveway. 60kmh+ t-bone in your driveway sucks and he almost run over a girl on the footpath.

In 1990 when it was an Australia post outlet we got broken into 4 times in one week. They put an alarm in and instead of running they belted my old man with a star picket when he came out. They then came back to demand the key to the safe 2 nights later.

I have had a bottle of oil taken of my verandah and tipped over my car.

I've had people passed out in the yard.

Hang on - ONE THING I HAVEN'T MENTIONED.

ALL THIS GOT REALLY BAD WHEN THEY PUT THE HOMESWEST HQ across the road.
i've heard that apparently if you put up a 'beware of dog' sign you are acknowledging that fact that you have a vicous dog and therefore the law is not so much on your side of anything happens
don't know if that is true or not.
This is more of an urban legend than anything. It would be difficult to uphold in court and easily circumnavigated by the defendant claiming that 'This was the only sign available to purchase at my local pet store'.

Plus Australia's legal system is different that the US. If you bring a civil case against somebody here in Aus, and LOSE, you are responsible for your own legal fees AND theirs, plus court costs - hense those fruity american court cases are less popular here in the free world.

I have seen signs saying 'Dog inside -Please keep the Gate Closed' or 'Please don't let the dog out' for sale that do not have any implication that the dog may be dangerous.

1 dog and some paint ball practice sounds like it could make for some good times.

I would love a paintball gun for the tagging scum in my street but unfortunately they're looked at like any other prohibited firearm and whether or not you have a license, if you're caught using one in public you will get torn a new one.

I'd just fucken move.. fuck the house, the history... or I'd be complaining so loudly to my member of parliament that you demand it changes. Tell them to hire you security, because it's too unsafe, otherwise you will move out, and leave the heritage listed home to rot and get destroyed by vandals.

Giddyup 18-10-2010 01:20 PM

Gotta love Forrest Ave. If you don't want to move, you'll have to deal with it. I lived in Dalyellup for 3 years, never had a problem.
