Assuming the information is correct - I'd assume so. You'll probably find that they got "permission" though as the WA Police force is notorious for taking any challenge to speeding tickets very seriously as they certainly don't want precedent cases.
If you do - get a good lawyer as when you win costs will be awarded.

I was going to say something, but chances are it must be different over here in WA. I know in SA they can't ping anyone within 100 or 200m from a change of speed sign. Tried it on me once, didn't get too far with it. Typical wankers.
