Default Tricky MSC

I saw a speed camera positioned as below. Its placed at abus stop near the joint between a 60 zone and a 70 zone. What speed is the speed camera set?

I would say it is set to 60.

This is another example to prove police use MSC to make more money rather than ensure road safety.

Not uncommon, I've seen cops position themselves on the opposite side of hills where a 60 zone just before it turns 70 (literally a foot or two away from the increased speed zone).

From your picture where is the speed change sign? Where the lines turn from red to black? Also what is the approximate distance from that sign to the speed camera?

x2. If your picture is to scale and it is literally a few metres to the 70 sign, then the camera would begin its speed calculation while the vehicle is still in the 70 zone. One would get their fine thrown out pretty easily if that were the case.

Yes, the '60'sign is at where the line changes to black, and the camera is placed 4m behind the sign.

Image Speed Measurement Devices are not to be placed within 100 metres of the approach or departure side of a change of speed zone unless otherwise directed by the Assistant Commissioner, Traffic and Operations Support (or his delegate).
