A simple comment on the recent "debt default" of the USA, I'm sure we have all had a "we're late" with a debt interest payment. It doesn't equal bankrupt - it's a cash flow issue.

FEAR makes it easy to implement previously unacceptable measures to counter act.

Think quantitative easing version 1 post GFC.

Only problem is.


Wipe the debt clean - not a problem all debts set back to $0.

1 day later check the balances and everybody is in debt to everyone else yet again.

Some places can not survive with the basic resources they provide. They need to get get resources from other country's or they will either starve to death or simply fade away..

If you export less than you import - sell less than what you buy then what happens?? You can't just curl up and fade away.. You just get a HUGE debt..

Printing money is a short term fix like a shot of adrenaline. It'll pull you outa the crap but WILL NOT fix the problem the problem you will be left with is called Hyperinflation and it's BAD, very bad.

I don't hate America in fact I love it! It's a fantastic place. I just wish they could sort this problem out.. I can't see it happening anytime soon.

The simple part is; the more money that is in circulation reduces the amount that currency is actually worth.

What I love is the price of a barrel of oil was sky high. Then the US$ self lubricated and the price of a barrel of oil stayed high. Fuel price stayed about the same when it should've come down. Then the US$ pulls back some ground internationally and the price of oil goes up again.

It's almost as if the powers that be don't want anyone to get ahead in life....
