Guys need a new phone and was thinking that I might go iPhone 4. Seems to be heaps of posts saying they aint much chop - should I get one or not? if not what is better and why. Lets keep it seemly, I don't want a slanging match just some constructive criticism pls.

Reception is shit due to the placement of the aeriel in the bottom corner, so when you have your hand wrapped around it and up to your ear the signal quality drops. Other than that, pretty sweet.

Have not had a smart phone before but quite like the idea of browsing web, integrated ipod etc. Had a Sony W995 but a heap of shit, problems with call clarity drives me nuts.

with the amount of other smart phones on the market providing so many extra features from the iphone etc I would say no.

have a look at the likes of the samsung galaxy S or the HTC desire on android. or even have a look at the new htc phones with windows phone 7. see what you like best. and if you dont want a touch screen the likes of the blackberrys are good as well..

soo much choice now days with really good software, so no real reason to stay with a locked down POS that has no signal from apple.. :P
