but if u want a songs here and there, go to video2mp3.net
copy the url of any youtube clip and it converts it to a mp3 and then ya download it . its safe n easy .

yeh i heard that its also good couple mates use it but it sometimes does not show the latest songs that have been released

Install firefox.
Tools => Addons => Get Addons
Search for one called Flash Video Downloader - Youtube Downloader
Find a video in youtube that you wish to download and click the blue arrow in the bottom right of the screen.
This program gives you a couple of formats to the file as, .flv & .mp4.

All you need is a converter from those 2 formats to .mp3 and your set

i used Frostwire when i want single songs.
