Well, thats the first problem isn't it! Bring him in to open with Watson, or to bat number 3, 4 or 5. Strengthen's the batting line up, he can bowl his pies too if he needs to, and he can work up to be captain by the next Ashes when Ricky is 'released' from his duties

What pissed me off is Australia running around celebrating when they were getting late wickets with England on 450 odd runs.. have some fucking dignity. You don't celebrate when you're getting thrashed, whatever sport you're playing.

haha true! Such a break thru for them to get someone out for 100+ runs. Or getting a bowler out for sub 50 was a great accomplishment! Losers.

ponting seems to get special treatment just because his captain, its as if he decides wether his cut or not, the selectors need to grow some balls and say look your being dropped, you failed everytime at the crease during 4 tests, maybe dropping you for the 5th test will open your eyes to yourself abit.

I can't remember Australia being this bad since Kim Hughes was captain, and a couple years just after that.
