Was not that long ago I asked someone if anyone knew the whereabouts of his car and what he was doing with it. Last I spoke he was building a mental 2 door.

Man this thing brings back memories. 600hp with a sequential kitted dogbox.. was brutal!

That poor car is a shadow of its former self. I was lined up behind it at the motorplex when it ran the 10.1 and everyone lost their shit

I had the pleasure (well actually I was shitting myself) of being a rear seat passenger in this evo on a run up Leach Highway.

Watching the look on HSV owners as I looked out the rear window and held on for dear life was a priceless moment.

What happened to the "ultimate 2 door". Last I saw of it was when it was in the workshop of Techniks visiting Macey?

Went through many many builds. Ultimately the final was a Speedworks build that saw it in the low 10s.

Not quite, had a dogbox with a sequential shift mechanism in it - AJ wired the motec to cut throttle between shifts (was a button or tap on the clutch from memory) to allow flatshifting.
