I was wondering if anyone knew how to solve a call list issue on a 3GS iphone. The problem is that no calls are shown in the call list in either "all" or "missed".

The issue started when the phone was updated to the Iphone 4.2 firmware. The phone if "reset" and "erased" will show phone numbers in the call list. When restored with the phone's backup the problem returns.

Does anyone have any ideas as this is a major issue for someone using the phone as a work phone?

Searches on google have led to many threads with people having similar issues but no ways to resolve that I can find.

Do you simply mean from within the phone Kato? There are no calls in the call history, hence, no "clear lists" appears.

Yeah try that, it has worked for me previously as there is an error in your call history not allowing it to be shown. Delete it and bam it starts showing it again.

I'm just grumpy at the Genius bar as everytime I go in to see them, they have just gone home or something. Sure I'd like to make an appointment on Tuesday, but I would like for someone to fix my shit now. Oh and I'd like a teleporter and time stopper to get into the city for this appointment whilst I'm busy at work...

I retract my previous gripe with the Apple Genius Bar!

Found out it was Vodafone being the asswipes telling me to just go in (and the one dude in the Apple store who wanted me to come back on a Tuesday).

I've been having a little issue with my iPhone 4, made an appointment to see a Genius (they are there till 8pm which is handy), explained and BAM given a new iPhone on the spot.

The service blew me away and makes me want to purchase again. Given that there was actually service given to a customer in Perth, it makes the extra price of some Apple products worthwhile imo.
