but yeah quite sad to hear all this news about the earthquake & tsunami with the death toll rising

The mother inlaw has a distribution business/partnership between China and Japan and have office/warehouse in the Chiba prefecture and apparently she can't get a hold of them over there which isnt good.

We were looking at possibly moving there at the end of the year for the wife to take over the business but mother inlaw says it's not going to happen now as she doesn't want us there! So it looks like it will be Shanghai or Beijing now if anything.

Someone else said this on Facebook but where is the info coming from?

They're only just finding out about damaged things near the coast, slightly inland etc and Ebisu is nestled in between some mountains appx 200kms south west of Sendai so pretty sure they're more worried about other stuff and releasing info about those instead of a race track.
