Default need some advice

me and 2 other guys got done for dangerous driving apparenty.

it all happened on a cruise. there was this 350z in front of us taking the coner hard and he starts to slid. then a wrx, an evo, and me took the coner.
we were caught up in the traffic lights after the turn. about 30 sec later, this cop drove pass us up to the light blocks road with his bike. come down look for the cars which he thinks did the offence, took our licences and ask us to leave. told us we will get summons in the mail for dangerous driving.

what i think happen is that, the 350z sliding attracted his attention. saw us take the coner. thinks we were sliding. and at the traffic light he chose the loud cars and let the 350z cos it was stock standard and look like a bussineseman's car. SO, i m sure he didnt see a thing cos he was far behind and was randomly chosing cars. he has got no speed reading, he didnt see us properly, he chose the wrong cars, got no witness and took our licence.

what should we do?

Wait until the summons, then seek legal advice.

Provided the summons arrives, best thing to do would be get some good legal advice and take it from there.

That said when i've been busted doing silly things, not once have they just said i will get a summons in the mail and just simply got told to bugger off. Last time i was pulled over for being stupid (a while ago now ), me and a mate basically got told to sit the fuck down and not say a word..... That night I learnt first hand that many police have NFI of how to judge how fast a car is going!!!

Sounds a bit like scare tactics (lets hope its worked mind you ) to me though.

Hopefully it was nothing more then a scare, however if you are unlucky for doing the deed. Seek legal advice when the summons arrives!

Lawyers can't do much without knowing exactly what you are being charged with , all they can do is recommened you things like "keep your nose clean" until the summons arrives and generic things like that.

If you are rather paranoid, write down on a piece of paper EXACTLY what happened and circumstaces as no doubt later down the track you might forget some key bits and pieces which you might need in court.

Thats been my experience with it all so its really up to you to pick out the bits the apply you...

The keeping your nose clean thing might also work....

New sti, p plates, personalised plates and the fact that you've probably boken a few road rules reminds me of another black sti and driver...

Did he physically take the licence or do you mean he took note of licence and penciled it into his notepad?

If he physically took your licence.. prolly a dead ringer for "DONT DRIVE YOU LOONLY"

if not.. then wait.
