That's quite a snazzy looking watch!
My wristpiece of choice :P But on a more serious note, I'm a big fan of Luminox watches, anyone else wear them? This is my current everyday watch

my new watch arrived yesterday - the stainless steel finish is amazing - its much harder than normal stainless (3 or 4 times harder) - like its sapphire crystal, the bracelet/case is just the next step down from diamond on the moh hardess scale! - its fucking hard & scratch resistant.
the workmanship is first rate, ive never seen a watch made so well. even the module & display is an 'in house' product made in switzerland like the rest of the watch. it even comes with its own little tool press to remove the links. Last edited by norwest_rumbler; 01-08-2013 at 10:44 PM. |

Can anyone recommend a trusted site to buy a TAG, as I may be looking for one this year. Should I buy off a site or as I'm headed to the states in May-June should I just buy whilst I am there.
Also, are leather or steel bands personal preference? I'm leaning more towards a leather band but if I change my mind afterwards can I always buy a steel band and change it up?

Howl is correct. It is the Blackout 1879.BO
Have been wearing this as an everyday watch now for half a year or so and can't fault its build quality. It's had a number of hard hits and hasn't shown any damage at all. The leather band did take a good three months to wear in to the shape of my wrist properly as it's very thick, but now it's very comfortable. I purchased from Masters in Time - Watches for Men, Women & Kids for roughly $4~500, can't remember exactly.
