I just got myself the Pixie for $319 on sale from David Jones. I then go to Harvey Norman on Saturday i find they have a clearance sale with it priced at $297 haha, oh well.

Overall i love the coffee. Not as good as a proper coffee from beans. But much better than shitty instant coffee. Well worth the money if you love a coffee of a morning or arvo.

Ps i was tempted to get the latisima for $470 on sale. But im a long black fan and the extra coin would have been a waste for me, however the latisima looks the goods, i would love to try it out some day haha!

We have the Pixie and its the best investment I've made in years.

Love the coffee - Has turned me into a coffee snob, the coffee I get from it is better than most of the coffees you get around town.

Nespresso club is also good and ordering online is awesome, rock up at your door within 48hrs sometimes less!!!

Yeah i definitely don't regret buying it even when the essenza was going for 20 bux less, however, the essenza doesn't allow the bigger mug like the pixie, I don't what normal coffee cup would fit under the essenza :S

What capsule do you prefer? My fav so far is the ristretto, probably since it is the strongest, I've only had 6 cups so far so still got 10 from the intial 16 capsules they give you to try.

I have a lattissima and all I can say is you must be going to the wrong places around perth!! Nespresso is great 'at home' coffee but doesn't compete with the good shops around, elixir, velvet, txtshots, louis baxters and so on.

All of the above are coffee boutiques, most having very expensive coffee machines and highly trained baristas.

For a machine that costs little more than a couple of pairs of trainers, needs virtually no maintenence, and can be operated by a chimpanzee, I think the coffee is tremendous and extremely good value for money.

Nespresso is probably the busiest store in the city, for good reason too.

I'm still laughing at the thought of nespresso coffee making someone a "coffee snob".

Yeah I agree, Nespresso is awesome for how easy it is to make at home, and it still tastes great, but it will never be as good as coffee from a busy coffee shop, like velvet etc. that all have fresh beans.

Mmmmmm, fresh coffee beans are sooo goood!!!

I do get amazed at the amount of 'pro' coffee shops that serve up dirty dishwater. They should probably swap to Nespresso.

Sadly too true. That and the "good ones" that whose good coffee is destroyed by the new barrista and serve coffee so hot it's basically undrinkable.
