dont know if i'm going to be frowned upon for asking something like this but i'll give it a shot!
My partner had signed up for the RS club several months back (we have 2 RSs between us) but he still hasnt been activated, has contacted etc etc
Just wondering if anyone has any contacts over there that we might be able to get in touch with?

just hang around here Carly - most of the RS guys are on this forum anyway, including the lord and most knowledgeable Mister Two... we like all things Subaru - RS included!

Do you meant the RS Liberty Club? If so, it's worth persuing as an RS Liberty owner. There's lots of DIY stuff on there as in general they're a younger (perhaps less cash indulged crowd) than say here or Rexnet.
The two forum owners Jake and George rarely get involved these days, but try emailing Raz in Tassie, he's the main guy running things on a daily basis.
If still no luck, either Me or Sam [xeon] are the WA reps.
We're organising a contingent of WA cars to the next National meet, we go every year and it's a really good event.
Most WA based RS owners (or enthusiasts) are frequent readers here too.
Mister2, TeeJay, Marz, Bremmer, Chef, ShadowZ, Horiznt4l, RSR-WRC, Xeon, Pimpreza, Levans, Col5555, Richo, etc etc. There's lots of us! Usually have a pizza night every so often.

I emailed Raz when i got the above reply, but didnt hear anything back and still not enabled to post new threads or attachments... can post replies though.

If you can post replies than you're all signed up etc. I would say that you have not reached the required criteria for starting new threads yet. The RSLC has had a lot of international spammers in the past starting new threads for penis pills and such, so they have implemented a few securities to stop them. Read thoroughly the section on introduction, I think maybe now you need to introduce yourself before you can post a new thread. Possibly there's a post count before starting a new 'for sale' thread to stop people using it as Gumtree.
Let me know if you're still stuck getting the introduction.

no, that's not the reason we want to sign up properly. my partner has had an RS for a few years and is beginning to do some work to the motor. he's after tips and advice. we've been trying to be able to post in the forum for a few months now, well before we had the one we're advertising now. but i see why you might think that
