So many gadgets etc, and I know I'm gonna have to pay to keep it in good .

Even though I had to compromise with the auto transmission, at the end of the day I've got just what I was looking for, at a total cost of around $15k (post-LPG conversion)

But I can see it becoming another money-pit like the WRX
Lol. BMW owned rover in 2001.
This car was the test bed for the x5
What you have done is a total contradiction of yourself.

Welcome to high bills, let us know when the air suspension fails. Lol.

These are cheap for a reason. They are crap.

The money you will save from the lpg conversion you can put towards repairs.

I know 2x of these that cost what they are worth in maintenance each year.

2003 MITSUBISHI PAJERO GLS NP Private Cars For Sale in WA - carsales.com.au

That would of been my choice, comfy able to tow and haggled the price down, cheaper parts if you know where to look, diesel power.

I was also amused by my contradiction...but the BMWs were worth twice the amount. And I have a bit of a support community for the range since a couple of family members and my neighbor own one.

The range rover can be compared to the wrx; both are known for failure, but if you know what you're doing, how to look after it and are handy with tools, they can be a rewarding car to own.

Lol.. are you on crack?

A WRX is utterly reliable compared to a RR of that vintage.. don't even compare them.

As Tristan mentioned, one of our mates has one exactly the same as yours, and it costs him thousands upon thousands each year just to keep it running.
