+1 for fresh install. Also, solid state drives write data differently to your standard hard drives and copying over your operating system and program files isn't really a great idea. In time you will end up with problems.

Reinstall was always your best option.
Also, disable/don't defrag the disk. I've heard of nasty nasty things happening to the data once it tries to "fix" fragmented files including snotting the file system altogether. |

Throw the PC in the bin and buy a Mac is your best option, but everybody is right. Fresh install FTW
