I am aware of someone who got an insurance payout due to limestone stains on their rendered house and garden walls due to bore staining. It was an "accidental damage" policy rather than the usual defined events policy.

They were required to place a system to reduce the iron content before any other claims would be accepted.

Further information as to how this occurs can be found here:

Water Corp - Water Iron Staining

Have you tried talking to the guy? He might not be doing this on purpose.

If you kick the heads off the sprinkler you will just get a fountain of bore water streaming everywhere which could be worse.

Fill the outlet nozzle of the offending sprinklers with superglue/sikaflex.

Tell him that the next thing that stains your driveway will be his blood.

I haven't talk to this guy yet, probably will tonight or tomorrow but I simply wanted to know my LEGAL rights first blood on the driveway is good but he is not that bad of a bloke and he is not doing it on purpose (strong easterly wind carries it over).

The driveway was sealed 3 years ago but i simply don't feel like cleaning it on regular basis + the sealant only works for a given amount of time ie you can only brush/clean it X amount of times before the sealant is no more
