Default Cordless Impact gun

Don't really want to spend 500+ but want something that have some grunt in it.
Don't want something cheap that will break after a couple of use.
Not really keen on Air powered as I would like to keep it as portable as it can get
This will mostly be used at home and on the car.

was thinking of something like this?

my old neighbour (who was a mechanic) had super love for his milwauki cordless rattle gun, i used it a few times myself and it was great, heaps of torque & battery lasted ages, not sure how much they are though

I've got a ryobi one+ and haven't had any issues. Logical choice for me given I already had the cordless drill and hammer drill since they all use the same batteries. If you are looking to expand your tools, then it may be worth a look.

I have this. About $400 so a little pricey, but it is an excellent quality tool.
Has enough torque to tear a hole in time.

I thought he was after a cordless rattle gun, can you use these impact drivers as a 1/2"?

Is that the big one or the little one? I cant open it at work. Makita do 2 different 1/2" Rattle guns. I have them both. The little one struggles to crack the nuts at 90nm but the big one is awesome. If you crack it with a wrench first it is still a good thing. It is considerably smaller and lighter than the big one and is the one we run in the car.

I like the snap on one but that is circa $800.
