Hey guys,

Heaps of options depending on what you've got already.
If your router has removable external antennas, you can try new ones with a higher gain. If you've got network cable through the house you can buy another router with a repeater mode. Plug in to a network point then configure it to broadcast on a different IP range. Can be a head fuck. Something like an ASUS RT-N15U would work. Buy a dedicated wireless range extender. The Asus does this too, or something like a Netgear WN2500RP might be easier to set up. Try Ethernet Over Power adapters. There have been a few recent threads on these. |

2nd option using the same ssid, key and network would be best. Devices roaming will attach to the device with the best signal. iPads/iPhones can be a bit sticky and want to stay on the same access point but will eventually jump.

need to be wireless?
myself and my parents have been using the power over ethernet stuff works really well and you're not boosting your wireless to your neighbour's house for them to hack and use your bandwidth

You could also use powerlines and some old routers to setup wireless repeaters in the dead spots.

You don't seem to do things on the cheap tino.
Wire your entire house for Cat6 back to a panel in your garage and never look back.
