Possibly more stupid than buying shares just before the GFC... Last week at the Mandurah Ironman I popped to the toilets to have a pre-race nervous wee, I tripped as I entered and somehow manged to drop my car keys down the toilet - one of those portable festival types. They hit the bottom of the bowl and kept on going.. I stood there in disbelief for a good 10 minutes. Luckily the organisers found a cleaner to come and help. She turned up with a bin bag and when I asked what that was for she smiled and told me I had to put my arm in it and dig for my keys. If I was lucky they'd be on the surface, if I was unlucky they would be underneath a solid foot of shit, piss tampons and toilet paper. I was unlucky. She showed me how to lift the entire toilet up so I had access to the tray below and left me to it. Easily the most disgusting thing I've ever had to do. Ever. However I eventually retrieved my keys and received a round of applause from the small crowd that had gathered, intrigued by my predicament.

If you can beat that for stupidity I would like to hear from you so I don't feel so bad.

Reminds me of a time i was in London with a couple of mates...we were all sharing a hotel room and i woke up early and dropped the hairiest grog bog in the toilet. One of those ones where you use half a roll evacuating the anal cavity.

Anyway when i was done another mate had woken so we went off to get brekkie.

Come back an hour later and the third mate says to me as soon as i walk in the door "you motherfucker....."

Turns out he woke up and went for a piss over to discover that shit was blocked up good.

So he did what you did, and just put his hand in a plastic bag and basically went to town, fingering the bottom of the bowl trying to push the junk through....

But the dumb cunt bypassed all the big shopping bags we had laying around and decided to grab some tiny plastic bag that only went up to his wrist area, so pretty much exposed his forearm to the brown army that was lurking within....

I can't beat it but a woman at Glastonbury Festival (UK) years back was sitting on a portable toilet that was positioned over a large hole that had been dug (old school portable).
It had rained heavily for days and there was a bit of a mud slide, the portable moved and somehow she fell into the hole. A LOT of screams ensued apparently.

A few years back I worked at Red Rooter on Rotto. I went to the toilet with my phone in my back pocket. As I stood up the ill my pants up there was a loud thunk and there was my phone sitting on the bottom of the bowl. Can't fault Nokia's that phone once washed and dried off still worked the sim card wasn't even buggered.
