Definately don't use the evidence in court! its more a guideline as to where wifey's lawyer should concentrate looking for additional assets where it maybe hidden or stashed, another company name or it's afflitrations.

I'm sure some of you have another account just for your cars / toys that your partner may or may not know about.

Since the wife is going to these lengths to find evidence on your 'mate', the relationship is over, move out and get a divorce. I sure as shit wouldn't be hanging around.

I don't understand why you would still be there if you believed someone was bugging you to find evidence.

Unless you have squillions stashed in off shore numbered accounts, any lawyer worth half their salt would find all your assets. Your lawyer, I mean, your mate's lawyer should be advising you/your mate on the best strategy to finalise the divorce and getting on with your life.
