There's a United here in Kalgoorlie, asked the guy behind the counter about the possibility of E85 on their pumps in the future....he gave me the typical look of "wtf is e85?"

How the hell does albany get e85 and armadale still has broken bowsers? These idiots would get exponentially more e85 sales if they put a few more bowsers about the place. There are so many people that are wanting to convert, arent, simply because there is no local option for fuel.

Spoke to Ledas owner last week he said there are no plans for anymore to be rolled out in Perth this year I told him if he got it I could guarantee it would be raped constantly lol. He said its not just up to the owners apparently as he has already inquired being so close to the motorplex.

Before i converted. I emailed United, and eventually (took a little while) got a reply from the wa regional retail manager. (Tony Poalo)

I was asking about the future availability of e85, and also its consistency.

This was the response. In november 2013.

Mr B

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

We now have E85 on pump and retails for 2 cpl cheaper than ULP.

It is currently available at the following sites:

United Hepburn Heights – 4 Walter Padbury Bvd PADBURY

United Lexia – 779 Gnangara Rd LEXIA

United Osborne Park – 479 Scarborough Beach Rd OSBORNE PARK

United Mindarie – Cnr Anchorage & Marmion Ave MINDARIE

United Armadale – 178 South Western Hwy - ARMADALE

We have sites in Spearwood, Hamilton Hill and South Lake which are near you and we have every intention to roll out to these sites in the coming year.

That said, the roll out decision and schedule will be determined by the popularity and uptake of the grade in other Perth locations and may change without notice.

E85 is marketed and sold as an 85% blended ULP / ethanol product and never varies.

For further engine tuning advice, Mike at MP Performance can be contacted on 0417 998 792. He is currently working on a blown big block combination in a 1935 Hot Rod which is being geared specifically to run E85.

Since then, i dont think even one additional servo has been upgraded.... but i still make the 60km odd round trip to get that sweet sweet sugary syrup.

I've read somewhere United will not convert any old stations (tanks) to e85, they will only install it at new stations as they are developed...
