Rexnet - wtf with hotmail/gmail
Anyone know why rexnet doesn't accept hotmail or gmail addresses...

You Work in IT right?
It's well known Gmail, hotmail & yahoo are the main hubs for SPAM accounts. Less clean up work for the admin's on that forum imo.

I know that....but it sucks to use your isp email...hotmail/gmail works so well with your phone etc...

I guess Anything that makes an Admin's Life easier is the reason. Seriously F*ck clearing spam accounts on a continual basis, just blanket ban of the known main hubs & you will already do less work.. Logic being applied really.

I just tried with bullshit email addresses on hotmail/gmail domain, not accepted...it has changed.. Quote:
